Community Connections Consulting Services, LL ("C3S") exists to identify and provide opportunities for positively impacting communities through impassioned thought paired with emboldened actions. As a firm, our engagement in any community is undergirded by both commitment and dedication to doing “THE WORK” necessary to make a true difference in people’s lives. C3S has and will continue to maintain that focus absent of any and all objectives that serve to detract from our team and partners actually engaging in doing “THE WORK” in support of individuals and families here in Wichita.
As a committed community partner, C3S was honored to serve as the initial Project Administrator for Facts Not Fear ICT to advance efforts to address the disparate impact of COVID-19 in the lives of Wichitans!
Since the grant was first awarded, the state of our world, nation, and city as it relates to COVID-19 has shifted. As a result, Facts Not Fear ICT has transitioned in both its focus, programmatic leadership, and administrative leadership to meet that reality. The University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita (KUSM-W) will now serve as Project Administrator and will hold the responsibility of building upon the efforts of #FactsNotFear and Facts Not Fear ICT as originated under the foundational framing and committed leadership of the Wichita Black Alliance and C3S.
In the spirit of building upon the capacity of local institutions to facilitate cooperative community collaboration, in this transition C3S looks forward to seeing “THE WORK” continue in fidelity to the earnest intentions of the community from which Facts Not Fear (in all of its framings) originated.
