Community Connections Consulting Services, LLC (“C3S”) is pleased to support the University of Kansas Medical Center Research Institute, Inc. in the institution being selected to serve as the next Project Administrator for Facts Not Fear ICT!
C3S exists to identify and provide opportunities for positively impacting communities through impassioned thought paired with emboldened actions. As a firm, our engagement in any community is undergirded by both commitment and dedication to doing “THE WORK” necessary to make a true difference in people’s lives. C3S has and will continue to maintain that focus absent of any and all objectives that serve to detract from our team and partners actually engaging in doing “THE WORK” in support of individuals and families here in Wichita. As a committed community partner, C3S was honored to serve as the initial Project Administrator for Facts Not Fear ICT. Our team is pleased to have partnered with the City of Wichita to advance efforts to address the disparate impact of COVID-19 in the lives of Wichitans.
Since the grant was first awarded, we all can easily observe that as it relates to COVID-19, the state of our world, nation, and city has shifted. As a result, Facts Not Fear ICT has transitioned in its supportive focus on empowering and supporting health and wellness for the most vulnerable of Wichitans. In that spirit, C3S supports the Kansas Medical Center Research Institute, Inc. and the team at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita (KUSM-W) in its new role to build upon the work that has been started under C3S. As “a recognized leader in training physicians, an innovator in biomedical research, a force for diversity and a catalyst for the improvement of public health throughout the nation” (https://www.kumc.edu/school-of-medicine.html), KUSM-W is a strong local partner for continuing to build this important work for this community!
In the spirit of building upon the capacity of local institutions and facilitating cooperative community collaboration, C3S is pleased to see “THE WORK” continue!
Congratulations team!
For Community,
Angeline F. Johnson
